Proposed are some new directions in literary and cultural criticism derived from the Anthroposophy of Rudolf Steiner. One finds in Anthroposophy the basis for a new, wide-ranging discipline of criticism that would allow us to determine, among other things, the precise import of the distinctive forms of literary-cultural experience that impose themselves over the period from the Renaissance through to today. Subjects addressed include: the Meeting of Theory and Nature, the Critique of Romantic Phenomenalism, The Critique of Modern Critical Idealism, as well as Modern Dissociation and the hopeful counter to this: Extending the Method of Nature through Imagination, Inspiration, and Intuition.
