This error can occur if QuickBooks fails to access a file in this folder during installation. Follow the steps given below to avoid this from hapenning-

1. Press Windows + R on the keyboard to open the Run

2. Type %temp% in the command field and press Enterto open the temp folder.

3. Right-click anywhere inside the folder and select Properties.

4. Click on the Security tab, select your username and mark the checkbox alongside Full Control.

5. Click on Apply to save the settings and retry installing QuickBooks. If the error is still present, move to the next method.

Solution 2-Use the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic tool

1. Intuit provides a tool that can help you fix issues that occur during the installation of the software. Follow the steps in the below section of this article to use the QuickBooks Tool hub-

3. Select QuickBooks Install Diagnostic tool and let the process finish.

4. Retry installing QuickBooks.
