And constantly monitoring the situation of car usage through the interaction between fog nodes, and giving guidance in regard to relay locations, makes it possible to guide users so that the drop off time of the current user and the pickup time of the next user (standby user) are synchronized. This also allows proposals for changing the car or parking lot, and enables the user to be accurately guided to the pickup location after the change. In summary, fog computing gives carsharing services the ability to offer users the most suitable car at the time they want, by providing real-time data on car availability, relay procedures, and schedule changes. These are features that will lead to a higher degree of customer satisfaction with the service. There is no need to implement this high-precision monitoring of the latest information constantly. The kind of monitoring and reports that are required are sent to fog nodes as necessary, which allows network and computing resources to be used efficiently.

Scenario 3: An accident occurs User B causes a traffic accident while driving. User B performs measures to indicate that an accident has occurred to those nearby and moves the vehicle to a safe location to prevent a secondary accident or traffic congestion. If there are injured parties, User B must assist them and call an ambulance. User B contacts the police and explains the circumstances of the accident, then carries out the instructions of the police. Furthermore, User B also contacts Company B and shares the accident circumstances. User B must contact an insurance company if required and arrange a tow truck depending on the severity of the accident. The tow truck takes the car to a repair facility and the repaired car will be returned to the original parking lot. As part of compensation, User B may be required to pay Company B a non-operation charge. Driving a car always carries with it the risk of an accident.
