Frischgewaagd Gluecksfee –Sire: Seeis Andros , Dam: Midgard Gazelle

Foals are handled from birth onwards. They grow up in herds on the farm on natural grazing with supplementary feeding when necessary. Mountainous terrain ensures very strong bone and hoof growth. All horses are handled regularly in a friendly and respectful manner to develop their trust and familiarize them with all things human. In this way the opportunity to develop their inherited potential is given from an early age. FRISCHGEWAAGD STUD Frischgewaagd Stud was established in 2000 by Rolf & Marion Barth on the Frischgewaagd farm, just 90 km east of Windhoek and 45km east of the Hosea Kutako international Airport of Namibia. The rugged terrain makes for well bred hardy horses, which are sound and attentive. They roam freely and are seldom stabled, with ample natural food and water ensuring well conditioned mares and foals. This freedom allows development in a natural environment which guarantees well balanced horses. It is a modern stud which places great emphasis on conformation, movement and jumping ability, breeding horses for jumping, dressage hacking, as well as hiking and pleasure riding.
