SPOTHERO

SF Takeover: Interactive Dynamic Ad Unit To the right, is an Interactive Dynamic Ad Unit, also known as a Half Page ad. This ad unit has been designed to dynamically pull the user’s Geo-location to deliver a custom ad experience. The user’s location will be displayed as part of the ad’s headline— in this case, this ad will be for a San Francisco takeover. Using Geo-technology in the backend, this ad will not only be useful for one particular SpotHero market, but can also be used to target prospect customers in other available cities in the future. The SpotHero Hero Blue is used throughout the ad to catch the user’s attention and to enforce brand awareness. A screened-back animated map of the user’s current location is seen subtly panning to the left in the background to help intrigue the user.

This ad unit will allow the user to search for available SpotHero locations within a 15 mile radius from the zip code they submitted. A scrollable list of nearby locations will appear within the ad unit upon their zip code submission, providing a convenient and engaging way to experience the banner. The design of this ad unit can later be tailored to create other IAB-compliant ad sizes. Mobile platform app logos are displayed on the bottom of the ad, to ensure the user is aware that a SpotHero mobile app is also available on their preferred mobile device. — Continue to the next pages to see the User’s Journey and Banner Guidelines.

User’s geo-location is recognized and dynamically populates headline (city) and background animation (map).

User enters zip code. Search is triggered by button click, or by hitting the 'Enter' / "Return" key.

Secure Checkout.

User is presented with results within a 15 mile radius of the submitted zip code. User selects and books spot by clicking on CTA, then is directed to Secure Checkout page.
