Product Review by Joel Daniel As a pilot myself, I love all forms of flight simulation software. I am always on the look-out for top flight simulator games. Currently, there are two similar flight sims on the market - namely ProFlightSimulator and FlightProSim. Both of these seem so similar so I decided to carefully evaluate one against the other. So here is my review of ProFlightSimulator and FlightProSim. CUSTOM LAUNCHER & COMPATIBILITY: Pro Flight Simulator has a new 3.0 custom games launcher that makes launching a new game that much easier. It is also compatible with multiple operating systems and supports more hardware configurations that FlightProSim does. I was unable to run FlightProSim or Flightgear smoothly on my system. There were issues with launching the games and in addition, FlightProSim lagged terribly and crashed non-stop. However, Pro Flight Simulator, launched and ran very smoothly and I had no issues with this aspect of the game. MONTHLY UPDATES: Within three short weeks of my purchase, I received a new update from Pro Flight Sim. The next update Ive been told will be coming in one month's time. On offer are more frequent updates than all other flight simulators. There will be 10 more new aircraft added and 50 more scenery packs in the coming update. In terms of value, FlightProSim is way behind. VIDEO TUTORIALS: There are very easy-to-follow video tutorials which educate you on how to get started flying. I couldn't find this in FlightProSim. These video tutorials make it easy for any novice to learn how to fly the aircraft. Included are illustrated guides spanning over 100+ pages which you can refer to at anytime during a simulation. BETTER HARDWARE INTERFACING: What I liked a lot was that I was able to use my Saitek and Logitech joysticks with ProFlightSimulator easily. I had some difficulty getting them to work with FlightProSim or FlightGear. It also comes with easy joystick configuration options that syncs with your existing hardware. No more headaches trying to get your hardware to work. CONCLUSION? ProFlightSimulator definitely outperformed the other two games and really does offer more value for money (with great updates thrown-in). Also, the four free bonuses they give also sweetens the deal. So take flight today with Pro-Flight Simulator - the most realistic flight sim in the market...
