History t Ericsson opened its first Australian sales office in Melbourne in 1951 and established an Research & Development centre at Broadmeadows in 1984. It was used to launch the 3G network in the eastern part of Australia and was shut down in 2008.

Solar PV installed 300mm off the green roof making it more efficient due to the cooler temperature. The PVs are inclined at 30 degrees as it is the optimum angle for ultimate efficiency.
