EEN NIEUWE STANDAARD IN OPLEIDEN Als tandheelkundige in de zorg bent u erg begaan met het welzijn en de gezondheid van uw patiënten. U wilt de best mogelijke zorg bieden en een succesvolle onderneming leiden. GC helpt u hierbij graag met haar assortiment van kwalitatief hoogwaardige producten. Maar ook delen wij graag met u onze jarenlange ervaringen en opgedane kennis door samen te werken met tandheelkundige specialisten over de hele wereld. In deze brochure vindt u ons uitgebreide pakket aan praktijktrainingen op verschillende moderne GC-trainingscentra in Europa.

VISIE GC GC’s roots liggen in Japen. De essentie van onze bedrijfsvisie komt daar ook vandaan en is gevangen in het concept van ‘Semui’ en de ‘Nakama filosofie’. Semui betekent: vanuit het oogpunt van anderen denken en daar naar handelen. Met andere woorden: producten maken voor het welzijn van anderen. Aansluitend hierop ontwikkelt GC zich in de geest van Nakama. Nakama is een filosofie van wederzijds respect en positiviteit.

GC TRAININGEN

GC CAMPUS LEUVEN

Eén van de belangrijkste fundamenten van GC is het verspreiden van kennis onder tandheelkundige specialisten. De basis van onze trainingen is hands-on; echter elke training begint met een korte lezing over de nieuwste technieken en ontwikkelingen. Al onze trainingen worden gegeven door ervaren trainers en gastsprekers met als doel om de deelnemer de nodige praktische vaardigheden te leren waarmee alle deelnemers zijn/ haar kennis zeker zullen verbreden. We kunnen cursussen organiseren voor kleine en grote groepen deelnemers met een duur van een half uur tot enkele dagen.

Speciaal voor kleine groepen kunnen we op maat trainingen verzorgen. In deze trainingsbrochure vindt u alleen onze één- en meerdaagse trainingen.

Elk jaar investeert GC in nieuwe opleidingscentra verspreid over Europa. De trainingen in deze brochure worden grotendeels gegeven op de GC Europe Campus in Leuven. Dit moderne centrum vierde dit jaar zijn 10-jarige bestaan waarin het meer dan 22.000 deelnemers heeft verwelkomd en er meer dan 3.000 handson trainingen zijn gegeven.

ISRAËL, MILAAN & MADRID GC Benelux is vanaf het voorjaar 2018 gestart met het organiseren van trainingen die in het teken staan van ‘Kennis en Cultuur’. In diverse historische steden in Europa staan moderne opleidingscentra van GC. Mooie locaties voor een training en steden met veel cultuur. Voor de ‘Kennis’ beschikt GC over een groot aanbod sprekers uit binnen- en buitenland met veel praktijkervaring.

TRAINING CAD/CAM EN DIGITALE TECHNIEKEN

VAN DIGITALE AFDRUK TOT GECEMENTEERDE RESTAURATIE Wilt u een gedetailleerd inzicht krijgen in de huidige digitale technieken binnen de tandheelkunde? Mis deze training in 2019 dan niet.

PROGRAMMA Deze training bestaat uit een presentatie en een hands-on gedeelte.

Tijdens de presentatie is er aandacht voor zowel de conventionele als voor de digitale workflow, waarbij ook de voordelen voor de tandarts, patiënt en labo aan bod komen. Verder geeft onze GC expert u een uitgebreide demonstratie van de Aadva IOS, de digitale workflow en alle overige functionaliteiten.

Aan het einde van de ochtend wordt gestart met het hands-on gedeelte. U gaat zelf aan de slag met de Aadva IOS op een gipsmodel zodat u het scannen van de boven-, onderkaak en beetscan zelf ervaart. Na de lunch wordt een invivo scan van een patiënt of een gipsmodel gebruikt voor demonstratie van de IOS software en Digital Service Platform, gevolgd door een design van het solitaire element met behulp van Exocad software. U bezoekt ver­volgens het CAD/CAM Production Centre waar u

getuige bent van de productie van de restauratie, gevolgd door een presentatie over de verschillende CAD/CAM materialen (samenstelling, indicaties, afwerking), cementatietechnieken en het afwerken & inkleuren van Cerasmart of LRF.

DAGINDELING Op dag 1 ontvangen wij u graag op onze Campus in Leuven. Rond 17.00 uur is de eerste trainingsdag afgelopen.

Op dag 2 start de training om 09.00 uur en is om ca. 17.00 uur afgelopen.

Tussendoor zijn er koffie- en theepauzes en wordt u een lunch aangeboden.

Aan het einde van de eerste dag is er de mogelijkheid om gebruik te maken van een gezamenlijk diner. Indien gewenst kunnen wij voor u een hotelovernachting in het centrum van Leuven reserveren.

Het uitgangspunt van deze trainingen is het tandtechnisch aspect. Er wordt vooral veel aandacht besteed aan specifieke opbouw­ technieken om tot een mooi esthetisch resultaat te komen.

Tijdens de training wordt gewerkt met de GC composieten, die in alle opzichten beantwoorden aan de wens om natuuranaloog op te bouwen. Samen vormen zij een compleet systeem waarmee iedere ‘witte’ en ‘roze’ esthetiek te verwezenlijken is.

BOURGONDISCH LEUVEN? Leuven is een stad in Vlaanderen (België) en staat vooral bekend als de bierhoofdstad van België. Dat dankt de stad aan de aanwezigheid van de Artois brouwerij. Het sfeervolle kleine centrum heeft smalle en kronkelende straatjes die makkelijk te voet kunnen worden verkend. Naast veel pleinen en winkelstraten heeft de stad ook een aantal mooie bezienswaardigheden zoals Groot Begijnhof, het stadhuis en enkele kerken. Veel uitgaans­ gelegenheden zijn te vinden op De Oude Markt van Leuven. Deze wordt, ­vanwege zijn aaneenschakeling van kroegen, ook wel De Langste Toog van Europa genoemd. Een mooie stad om een paar dagen te verblijven.

BOB ELST Is gespecialiseerd in implan­ taten en porselein. Zijn doel is kennis te delen op gebied van motivatie, ervaring en zelfkritiek.

TRAINING MODULE MASTER

INSCHRIJVEN

Deze module richt zich met name op restauraties in zowel anterieur als posterieur gebied. Er is aandacht voor de morfologie en de kleuropbouw in bijvoorbeeld een klasse I (inclusief een knobbelopbouw) en een diasteemsluiting in het front, dwerglateralen, gebruik van glasvezelversterking.

De training bevat een theoretisch deel en een hands-on deel. Tijdens het hands-on deel is er de mogelijkheid tot gebruik van composiet met vitacodering (G-ænial) of eigen kleurensysteem (Essentia).

U kunt zich inschrijven voor deze Nederlandstalige Modules door middel van een inschrijfformulier.

Deze kunt u opvragen bij één van onze Dental Advisors (zie achterzijde) of via education.benelux@gc.dental. Deze trainingen zijn voor individuele tandartsen maar ook geschikt voor groepen. Aan elke training kunnen maximaal 16 cursisten deelnemen.

INTERNATIONAL TRAINING

KNOWLEDGE & CULTURE One of the foundations of our business is the expansion and distribution of specialist knowledge. Therefore, every year GC invests in new training centres across Europe. For a fantastic experience abroad for yourself or your entire team, visit our ultra-modern training centre in Israel, Milan or Madrid.

TRAINING COURSE ISRAEL Dr. Talmor will present the topic of aesthetic restoration integration including shape, texture and color.

The main focus of the training will be direct restorations - both anterior and posterior.

The first day will include a discussion on restoration integration, creation of a chromatic chart and principles of shape and texture design. The handson practice will be conducted under clinical microscopes, practicing anterior aesthetic restorations and diastema closure.

The second day of training will start with posterior class-II restorations, with focus on direct restorations, including isolation, creation of a perfect contact area and choice of materials. The topic of indirect CAD/CAM hybrid restorations will also be discussed. The hands-on practice, under clinical microscopes, will include posterior interproximal restorations.

The second day of training will end by a guided tour through the old city of Jaffa, a 5.000 year old city that is merged with the vibrant and modern Tel-Aviv.

On the last day there will be a guided tour in Jerusalem - an ancient city, holy to Christianity, Judaism and Islam, a historical epicenter for thousands of years.

INSTRUCTOR DR. GALIT TALMOR Serves as faculty member at the Prosthodontics depart­ ment and as an instructor at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Dr. Talmor also works at the Nitzan Bichacho private dental center in Tel-Aviv focusing on complex smile design, adhesive and restorative dentis­ try. She teaches courses in aesthetic dentistry on a regular basis and speaks at conferences on aesthetic dentistry, both locally and internationally.

TRAINING COURSE MILAN Dr. Giancarlo Pongione starts the first day with a theoretical presentation about Aesthetic Direct Restorations for Anterior.

In his presentation he will provide the knowledge necessary for the correct realization of aesthetic adhesive restorations in the anterior sectors. During his hands-on he will provide a new method of mimetic, simple, standardized and repeatable stratification to face daily direct adhesive restoration of the anterior sectors using only two or three masses of composite.

The second day starts with an analysis about the real morphological structure of the tooth and how it is possible to emulate it with the composite materials available in the study by dr. Gianfranco Politano.

Furthermore, there will be the preparation and layering of a first class, finishing and polishing.

DR.GIANCARLO PONGIONE Giancarlo has a practice in Naples and Rome specializing in “Aesthetic adhesive resto­ rations” and “Endodontics” He is an author of over 90 publications and speaks at international congresses.

2-DAY TRAINING: MASTERING DIRECT COMPOSITES

GOING MADRID TRAINING COURSE MADRID The training starts with a presentation on colour determination and includs subjects as the revision of existing aesthetic techniques, histo-anatomical studies and how a natural tooth func- tions. The philosophy of Bio Emulation is addressed as well. Then follows an extensive exploration of the pentalaminar concept, a layering technique that emulates the aging process. Javier Tapia also presents a hands-on implementation using Essentia composite to emulate the dental aging process with colour selection strategy, finishing and polishing strategy, texture protocol and clinical case analysis.

Concluding the first day, Javier Tapia demonstrates a Class IV case involving thin teeth. The second day starts with a hands-on Class IV session for the participants. In the afternoon, the Tri Laminar

JAVIER TAPIA Javier began his career as a digital graphic designer, founding the company SAP – Dental Media Design. He received a Merit Award from the Spanish College of Dentists for the deve­ lopment of new technologies. In 2011 Javier was a co-founder of the Bio-Emulation group.

He currently works at various European univer­ sities and as a reviewer for The Journal of Clinical and Experimental Dentistry. He also lec­ tures at international conventions, with handson and live courses.

TRAINING RELINING OF REBASING

VERBETER GEBITSPROTHES DOOR MIDDEL VAN RELINING OF REBASING Relinen, rebasen, repareren of reconstrueren van de gebitsprothese zijn termen die wel of niet voldoende bekend zijn in tandtechnisch of tandheelkundig Benelux. Maar wat is nu goed? Welke gouden standaard is er nu eigenlijk of doet men maar wat?

De aangepaste gebitsprothese kan onverwachts veel meer problemen geven dan u denkt. In deze cursus krijgt u laag voor laag weer een update van de eventuele problemen en oplossingen voor de te veranderen gebitsprothese.

PROGRAMMA De dag beging met presentaties over Relining of rebasing?, direct of indirect toepassen en het gebruik van harde of zachte materialen. Na de koffie pauze komen klachten en indicaties aan bod en ook wordt besproken wat haalbaar is met relining/rebasing.

DATUM maandag 30 september 2019.

Na de middagpauze begint het handson gedeelte met betrekking tot de uitvoering van relining & rebasing. Denk hierbij aan het aanpassen en afvormen van protheseranden en de afdruk.

Daarna is er aandacht voor specifieke behandeling als het aanpassen van de maxillomandibulaire relate, dorsale uitbreiding bovenprothese en overkappingsprothese op implantaten.

TRAINER RON SCHOLTE Ron Scholte (58) is tand­ technicus en docent aan de Dutch Healthtec Academy in Utrecht. Hij geeft daar­ naast parttime les aan het Radboud UMC in Nijmegen.

HANDS-ON TRAINING CONTACTPUNTEN

DE KUNST VAN HET CONTACTPUNT Deze training door expert Stephane Browet staat in het teken van het gebruik van verschillende matrixsystemen voor directe restauraties in de zijdelingse delen. Een duidelijke strategie zal u helpen om voorspelbare contactpunten te creëren.

PROGRAMMA

LEERDOELEN

Deze training bestaat uit presentaties, demo’s en hands-on sessies. De nadruk zal liggen op het herstel van vorm en contour bij diepe caviteiten waarbij aanvullende hulpmiddelen als separatieringen, wiggen en het gebruik van Teflontape uitgebreid aan de orde komen. Dit is meer dan improvisatie of simpelweg tips & tricks, het gaat hier om strategie en ‘problem solving’. Beiden worden hand in hand gebruikt om ook de moeilijkste gevallen voorspelbaar te kunnen behandelen.

Tijdens de hands-on sessies kunt u de verschillende matrixsystemen, wiggen en separatieringen toepassen.

STEPHANE BROWET Stephane Browet is werk­ zaam als algemeen practicus in België. Na zijn afstuderen in 1995 aan de Vrije Universteit Brussel volgde hij een 2-jari­ ge post graduate opleiding Esthetische tandheelkunde.

Direct na het beëindigen van die opleiding kreeg Stephane de smaak van het doceren te pakken. Vandaag de dag is Stephane zowel nationaal als internati­ onaal een veel gevraagd spreker. Onderwerpen zijn bijvoorbeeld cofferdam, composiet posteri­ eur, het gebruik van de microscoop in alle tak­ ken van de tandheelkunde, prothetische tand­ heelkunde en practice management.

HANDS-ON TRAINING ESTHETISCH RESTAUREREN

RESTAUREREN NAAR EEN ONZICHTBAAR RESULTAAT Marco Gresnigt is de expert op het gebied van esthetische tandheelkunde. Zijn trainingen staan in het teken van het toepassen en vereenvoudigen van uw werkwijze met betrekking tot universeel composiet voor restauraties. Wil u ook meer kennis op doen? Kijk dan welke datum u schikt en schrijf u in.

PROGRAMMA De training bestaat uit een presentatie en een hands-on gedeelte. Tijdens de presentatie laat expert Marco Gresnigt u kennismaken met een nieuw kleuren­ concept, de evolutie naar een vereenvoudigde werkwijze. Vervolgens wordt het protocol voor kleurbepaling toegelicht met aandacht voor do’s-and-don’ts en een kleur­bepaling op een cursist.

Aan het eind van de presentatie worden de eigenschappen van het universele kleuren­concept GC Essentia en de directe ­toepassing in de praktijk besproken.

MARCO GRESNIGT Marco Gresnigt is in 2005 cum laude afgestudeerd aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. In januari 2012 is hij gepromoveerd op de adhesieve bevestiging van facings. Hij is werkzaam op het centrum voor bijzondere tandheelkunde in het Martini Ziekenhuis Groningen waar hij zijn dagelijkse behandelingen uitvoert met behulp van een operatiemicroscoop. Aan de universiteit van Groningen verricht Marco onderzoek op het gebied van de restauratieve/ adhesieve tandheelkunde en doceert hij de esthetische en reconstructieve tandheelkunde.

Hij geeft zowel nationaal als internationaal lezingen en cursussen op dit gebied. Sinds 2014 is hij lid van de internationale Bio-Emulation groep.

In de Hands-on sessie gaat u zelf aan de slag. Tijdens deze training staat de vereenvoudiging van het layering concept centraal: snelle en efficiënte individualisatie, vormgeving, opper­ vlaktestructuur en afwerking. Dit wordt stap voor stap toegepast in de ver­ vaardiging van een klasse IV.
