2010: Retained the year of eligibility after redshirting. High School: Two-way starter at quarterback and defensive back coach Tom Pugh at Holy Cross... As a senior was New York Post and New York Daily News Queens Player of the Year... Team lost in the New York CHSFL semifinals... First-Team All-Queens and All-New York City as a quarterback... Threw for 1,657 yards and 15 touchdowns... rushed for 797 yards and 15 touchdowns... Had 63 tackles and five interceptions, one of which was returned 102 yards for a touchdown... As a junior was First-Team All-CHSFL, All-Queens, and All-New York City... Team reached CHSFL quarterfinals... Had 75 tackles and six interceptions in his junior season and combined for more than 750 punt and kickoff returns yards one touchdown... Team MVP his senior year... Offensive MVP in 2009 CHSFL Senior Bowl All-Star Game... Selected to play in New York High School Football Classic, picking off three passes and leading the Downstate squad to a win... Finished his high school career as the school’s all-time interception leader with 12 and ranks second in career tackles with 347... Also is the school’s career leader in receptions (61), receiving yards (1,013) and touchdown receptions (20)... First-Team Washington Post All-Met... First-Team PG Extra... Selected to play in the Prince George SMAC All-Star Game... Led Wise’s defense to 10 total shutouts and a staterecord eight consecutive... His senior year helped the team to 7-4 and made it to the Region finals... Second-Team All-Region Defense and First-Team All-District his junior year... As a defensive tackle his junior year, recorded 45 tackles and three sacks to help Highland to a 9-2 record... Runs the 40 in 4.9 secs... Successful shot putter in high school... Started at quarterback his sophomore year, the first time in school history that was accomplished... Was a threeyear letterwinner on the basketball squad... Helped the basketball team to an undefeated district record, averaging 15 points and 15 rebounds a game his senior year... Earned Honorable Mention All-District honors...
