Q: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what are three things you couldn’t live without? LW: I would need a box of books, some oodles & noodles, because you can eat them hot or dry, and some mangos, because they’re just delicious. Q: What is your favorite part about traveling with the team to away games? LW: The FOOD! We always eat really, really good food on the road and I love beating teams in their gyms. Q: Who’s the best dancer on the team? LW: Believe or not, Kirby Burkholder. That girl can do handstands and stuff. Q: Who’s the worst dancer on the team? LW: I have so many options, but Burt, aka Jazmon Gwathmey. Q: If you could play another sport, what would it be? LW: I would definitely run track. Q: How has your JMU basketball experience impacted your life? LW: I have to admit that I love to run and workout more. Being the “grandma”, I know it’s important to keep my body right. Q: What are your post-JMU plans? LW: To finish graduate school and get into a good Ph.D. program. Q: What’s your favorite place/restaurant to eat? LW: I love to eat at the Macaroni Grill and Maggiano’s. Q: If you were asked to be on America’s Got Talent, what would your talent be? LW: I would do my giraffe impersonation. It’s really good. Q: How does it feel to be the oldest person on the team and in grad school? LW: I definitely feel I have an extra responsibility to lead both vocally and by example and everyone calls me “grandma’.” Q: What is your hometown most known for? LW: Shout out to Virginia Beach! We are most known for our “strip” along the beach. Q: Who’s your favorite person to room with on road trips and why? LW: Kiara Francisco because she’s good for a laugh and she’s a great listener. Q: What is your favorite class at JMU? LW: I loved my Child Abuse and Neglect course with Professor Hillary WingRichards. Q: What are you looking forward to the most for the upcoming season? LW: Win another CAA championship. ENCORE! Q: What would be your dream role if you could star in any movie? LW: I would take the Zoe Saldana role in “The Losers.”
