WHAT: You’ll walk around the physical world and see virtual context from the Mieru X1275 fashion/ sport glasses. Your Facebook data is an optional overlay, showing the names and status updates next to the faces within your view. Another overlay helps you decide which direction to walk through your metro station. Stroll through Gettysburg and watch a Civil War reproduction video overlay right in front of you, complete with virtual tour guide. HOW: A thin OLED film covers the lenses of these glasses, which display augmented reality (AR) layers. Includes data connectivity, GPS and motion sensors as well as a tiny power supply behind the ear. Optional headphones can be attached to listen to video overlays, navigation or music.

MonitorMe v.5 !

WHAT: Continuously monitor your sugar and caloric intake, your blood pressure and 87 other medical bytes with the MonitorMe self-reporting patch. This flesh-colored sticker is now smaller than a penny and can either be worn directly on the skin or applied to a snug-fitting garment of your choice. If applied directly, MonitorMe need only be changed once a month. Track your results easily with your Connector, set reminders and automatically send results to GovDoc, (your federally-mandated data center) ahead of your annual health audit. HOW: MonitorMe v.5 uses microelectronics embedded into a tiny adhesive that continuously check your blood, oxygen, heart rate and electrocardiogram (ECG) waves.

D’Lovely Where Pumps ?

WHAT: The CLEAR9844 cloud-connecting earbuds make sure you’re never away from your music. Simply say what you’d like to hear and the song or artist plays. Want to browse your collection? Use the optional retractable, multi-touch command stick with e-ink to tap through your library or search for the perfect song. Hear something you like? Press record on your Connector to query a database and identify the song, artist or even the person who’s speaking to you. HOW: Lightweight earbuds connect wirelessly to your music, which is stored in the cloud. Access it from anywhere at any time. A complex database of recorded music, hums and human voice (sampled from public conversations, older Google voice mobile applications and other tools) is queried with each search.

Connector2025 ?

WHAT: Video conference with your friends and colleagues, track your own personal data, do your grocery shopping and more with this one device. Your Connector is personalized just for you and can only be activated using either your fingerprint or a quick retinal scan. The Connector is the motherboard of your life, connecting your health monitors, social networks, music and video and more in one place. HOW: The Connector2025 offers a slide-out OLED screen and customizable display. Fold it up and slide it into your back pocket or wear it around your wrist. Ubiquitous connectivity means never being without your information. The Connector’s cloud-based operating system uses top-level encryption and the same standardized backend enabling it to sync with all of your devices and networks.

ReddiWear Fabric ?

WHAT: Nothing is worse than a dress that fits perfectly in a color that’s so last season. The new ReddiWear Image Reading Fabric collection now changes color based on your preference. Feeling creative? Display real-time search engine results on your back. Want to remember your evening? Use the camera mode to collect images and video of the physical world around you.

WHAT: Never be lost again, with GPS-enabled shoes. The D’Lovely Where Pumps always know where you are, keeping track of your physical steps in the real world...virtually. Send a command to your shoes with an address or phone number and start on your way. The D’Lovely Where Pumps buzz gently for direction alerts (left turn, left shoe). On a diet? Program your D’Lovely Where Pumps to deliver an electric shock if you try to enter that donut or pizza shop. HOW: A tiny micro-machined accelerometer and a high sensitivity GPS microcontroller chip are embedded into the heal of each shoe aids in direction, speed, orientation, shock and vibration. Shoes can be programmed to avoid certain addresses, modes of transportation or even entire geographic regions.

HOW: Concentric light-sensitive semiconductor cylinders make up the fibers of this fabric. The semiconductors measure the intensity of light and convert it into an electrical signal, which are collectively amplified and read by a tiny computer that is embedded into the garment.

With the same thickness and flexibility of a yoga mat, Light Pad collects indirect and direct sunlight as well as ambient lighting and converts it all into energy. Simply place your Connector or any other device on the pad to recharge. Light Pad stores energy for later use, and the eco-conscious can send the power they collect back to the grid for others to use. Most energy companies now offer an energy buyback program for active Light Pad users. HOW: Micro solar cells have been woven into the fiber of Light Pad, making the entire piece of material solar reactive. Energy is transfered between Light Pad and the new solar receiving microcells found in all powered gadgets and devices.
