Even with my oldest son driving, I still joke that I am also an unpaid Uber driver for my younger two & their friends! First Active Year: 2004-2005 Favorite JLSB Memory or Placement: I have really enjoyed all my placements. The most fulfilling was Paired Reading at Atkins Elementary and seeing the children’s reading skills improve as a result of the program. The placement that took me most out of my comfort zone was Chairing Trend & Traditions as a first year Active with two boys under two and managing all the moving parts of what was then our largest fundraiser. I never anticipated being President of the League, but those who served on the Board that year are still among the women I count as some of my dearest friends. My most fun placement was definitely Nominating and choosing the future leaders of the JLSB. Fun Fact: I’ve been skydiving solo but now iFly is more my speed.
