This year's artwork celebrates the incandescent sparkle of joy we feel as the Christmas season draws near. In twinkling ornaments, shimmering ribbons, and snow-dusted pine boughs, we reflect on the promise and gift of another Christmas wrapped in family, friendship, and love. The centerpiece of this year's artwork, the reindeer, sits nestled among magnolia leaves, vigilant and wise, beckoning us all to cherish the commencement of the joyous season ahead.

Mary Ellen, a Fort Worth native, has won recognition in competitions through local NBC station Channel 5, the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, and has been displayed in various galleries in and around Fort Worth. In 2008, she established Annie Bugs Art, and has devoted herself to painting full-time. We are delighted to showcase Mary Ellen Murphey Becker as this year’s Christmas in Cowtown Featured Artist.
