WARNING: Failure to properly secure a load can lead to cargo damage, injury, or death. Rubber tarp straps are not to be used to restrain or secure cargo. Wear safety glasses and exercise caution when using tarp straps.

When choosing tarp straps, consider when and where they’ll be used. Temperature and climate can negatively impact your straps. Natural rubber works best in cooler weather where the material remains pliable and strong, even with extreme cold. EPDM straps have more natural resistance to heat and sunlight (as well as acids and bases), so they last longer and remain elastic and durable when the hot weather hits. No matter your choice, remember that tarp straps are not designed to secure cargo.
