BULGOGI 101

Beef bulgogi :

A food trend centuries in the making. Traditional beef bulgogi is made by marinating sliced beef in a perfectly balanced blend of soy, vinegar, sesame oil and pear purĂŠe for a true harmony of flavors. Koreans often grill the seasoned meat over hot charcoals (the word bulgogi pairs the Korean terms for 'fire' and 'meat'). It's a top seller at food stores in Korea and Japan. Bulgogi is delicious, versatile, and easy to prepare!

BULGOGI 101

pork bulgogi :

Korean tradition takes a spicy twist. Start with sliced pork marinated in the classic bulgogi tradition of soy, vinegar, sesame, and pear purĂŠe -then ratchet up the heat with an infusion of red chillies. Now you're getting a little taste of Korean fire. Pork bulgogi is fantastic in sandwiches or tacos, over rice, or even just wrapped in lettuce leaves. Best of all, it only takes minutes to cook!

BULGOGI AT COSTCO

Packaged Barbecue Beef is the single best-selling food item at Costco outlets in both Korea & Japan.

INSPIRATIONS

True to the deepest origins of Suji’s Cuisine and its founder. Delicious, unembellished Korean food products Suji herself would have eaten as a teenager in Korea. Authentic and unapologetically Asian. Elegant in its very simplicity.

A hat tip to the LA “kogi trucks“ that so brilliantly fused the simplicity of Mexican cuisine with Korean style bulgogi beef. These products tiptoe into fusion territory while capitalizing on the strongly embraced presence of Latin American food in the U.S.

A fusion fantasy of products - from bulgogi infused pierogi-style dumplings to Korean inspired philly cheesesteaks and pizza topped with bulgogi tang. Wherever there is inspiration-there’s a Suji’s Korean BBQ dish.
