In Women's Singles, Michelle Gilman took low-scoring wins over Hiromi Miyamoto (Japan) 15-1, 15-3 and Cinthya Teran (Bolivia) 15-0, 15-2 before defeating Carol McFetridge (Canada) 15-11, 15-7 in the semi-final.
