Participate And Assist

Given the concepts and the info graphic, can you participate and assist in a face-to-face learning environment?

I may take part in and help with in-person instruction as a prospective instructor by assisting in the implementation of the rules required in the classroom. I will be in responsible of instructing each group throughout the activity or group discussion and assisting them in completing their duties. I will also consider the students' needs by utilizing various teaching styles and creating a supportive learning atmosphere for them. To ensure the learners' involvement and active participation, I will also incorporate the usage of technology as part of the 21st century learning curriculum. Finally, I will implement the various instructional materials required and make sure they may engage in practical learning to assess their capabilities in real life scenarios or real-world situations.

Notice

Having been exposed to the traditional classrooms in your basic education, it seems that everything is familiar. However, as teaching-learning theories evolve over time there are changes that are taking place.

What changes have you noticed in the face-to-face classroom spaces?

Classroom Environment Before Classroom Environment Now

1. Using of blackboard during discussion

2. When having group presentations, the students are only using the available materials at school such as manila paper, pentel pen and chalks.

3. Lack of learning resources.

1. Using of white boards, projectors and television in presenting every lesson.

2. They can now use Powerpoint presentations, tarpapel and even television.

3. Availability of internet and online resources.

 What do you think brought the changes in the face-to-face learning environment now?

The fact that we are in the 21st century of education, where we must adapt the use of technology in the teaching and learning process, is what I believe has changed in the face-to-face learning environment. To have the various 21st-century skills required globally, we must be adaptable. It offers students an efficient learning environment in which to increase their skill levels, and their active participation in the teaching and learning process is evident. A teacher’s life is easier than ever with the help of technology.

 From the changes that you identified, choose one that you can do. How will you do it?

I believe I am able to employ technology as part of the teaching and learning process as a result of the changes I identified. Whenever I am instructing, I will incorporate the use of technology, such as utilizing PowerPoint presentations for discussion and maximizing the use of television rather than chalkboards to involve students in the discussion. I'll design a learning environment where technology has been incorporated, even using it for various forms of assessment and lesson planning. Last but not least, I'll leverage this platform in a unique way to design a supportive learning environment where students may learn and have fun at the same time.

 Do you think making the learning environment conducive for a face-to-face classroom will enable the learners to achieve better learning outcomes?

Explain your answer.

Making the learning environment suitable to a face-to-face classroom, in my opinion, will enable learners to achieve higher learning outcomes since they will feel safe and encouraged to study. As a result, pupils will look forward to attending lessons, while teachers will look forward to deliberating the subject passionately. It is encouraging to teach when you see your students engaged and eager to learn. It will increase teachers' drive to achieve better and give better education. It also pushes pupils to perform at greater levels and even motivates them to develop higher level critical thinking abilities. Finally, a favorable learning environment influences the learner's desire to study and aptitude to learn.
