The Redhawks currently have three players active in the National Football League. G/C Eugene Amano is with the Tennessee Titans, G/C Dan Connolly is with the Jon Gruden Marty Mornhinweg New England Patriots and TE Edgar Jones is with the Baltimore Ravens. Former Southeast assistant coach Jon Gruden rose to the top of professional football in 2003 when he guided the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title. Gruden was also head coach of the Oakland Raiders and is now a color commentator for Monday Night Football. Gruden coached at Southeast in 1988. Marty Mornhinweg, another Southeast assistant, is currently the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles.
