The Bahrain Turf Club’s (BTC) purpose is to run and promote horseracing in The Kingdom of Bahrain, bringing to the forefront the best horses, jockeys and trainers to participate in one of the most exciting and emerging racing jurisdictions in the sport.

The BTC also acts as a concierge for both horsemen and owners, providing first-class administration to ensure that connections travel into and around Bahrain with ease.

The BTC is the evolving vision of His Highness Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the governing body, The Rashid Equestrian & Horseracing Club (REHC).

Through his leadership and guidance, the sport of horseracing in The Kingdom of Bahrain has made monumental strides in becoming internationally recognised as a Part 2 Nation of the Blue Book following approval by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA). The club’s flagship race, the Bahrain International Trophy (Gr.2), is now a crucial date in the sport’s global calendar.
