Other conditions

The horses visiting Bahrain from Europe will be divided into two groups.

Pot A will be those that wish to run over 1000m (Straight) and 1200m (Straight).

Pot B will be those who wish to run over 1800m and 2000m.

In each race in the Series, two reserves that are trained in Bahrain, will be included at declaration time. If any of the existing field drops out by 9am on the day of the race a reserve will replace it in the race.

Additional International Races

In addition to the Bahrain International Trophy, the BTC host three further International Pattern races; The Crown Prince’s Cup, Al Methaq Mile & The King’s Cup, all of Listed status.

Furthermore, the Shaikh Nasser Cup, worth $135,000 will take place during the Turf Series on Friday 16th February 2024.
