JDA will support you like no-one else can The first deaf person I met was my beautiful baby Layla.

I’m the only deaf person in my school. I couldn’t hear my teacher.

JDA has been there for us from day 1, helping us to cope and give Layla the best start in life.

JDA put acoustic panels in my classrooms and now I can learn, just like my hearing classmates.

I have cancer. I can’t understand what the doctors say to me because I’m deaf.

My mum is in a care home. Without a hearing aid, she was cut off and lonely.

The girls from JDA help me follow medical instructions, hold my hand and make sure I have all I need at home. They’re my family.

JDA trained the staff and installed equipment so she could hear again. Now she has friends, joins in and enjoys the things hearing people take for granted.

The Jewish Deaf Association (JDA) is a lifeline to vulnerable deaf people at all stages of life — within the Jewish community and beyond. Please donate as generously as you can, and remember JDA in your Will.
