Camp Komaroff to welcome three Shlichut Rachel Roberts | Manager of Marketing & Leadership Engagement
Shlichut (shlee-HOOT) translates literally as “missionaries,” but colloquially refers to Israeli staff members at non-Israeli camps. In partnership with the Jewish Agency for Israel, Camp Komaroff is proud to welcome three Shlichut, camp counselors from Israel, for the summer 2022 session. In addition to familiar summer camp duties, these counselors will also have a special role in educating campers and staff alike on Israeli culture, music, art, language, and food. These activities often become some of the most memorable of the summer. Join us in giving our three Shlichut a big Camp Komaroff welcome: Shalom Aleichem, we are so glad to see you!
