Inviting all women to join JLB Women’s Philanthropy to enjoy a glass or two of wine, a tasty dessert, and the company of amazing women. Enjoy the beautiful holiday of Sukkot in our lovely Sukkah. Hear about the latest projects and programs of Women’s Philanthropy and help us pack Dignity Bags for our Dignity Project. Jewish Long Beach Women's Philanthropy has started this important project for our community. The Dignity Project provides women in need with hygiene items at no charge. We will distribute the bags to the Long Beach Middle & High Schools, shelters and to homeless women and teens. Please join us and be part of the group that impacts our wonderful community.

August 30, 6:30 pm at the Alpert JCC - Women’s Philanthropy Meeting (open to all women who are interested in joining and participating in this wonderful and impactful group)

September 20, 1:00-5:00 pm – Volunteers needed to bake Challah and Honey Cakes for Senior Adult Holiday Outreach

ALPERT JCC WOMEN’S WEEKEND

Co-Chairs Linda Waltzman and Sara Linden are excited to announce Women’s Weekend 2023. Join us for this very special weekend at Camp Brandeis- Bardin in Simi Valley. Enjoy Shabbat Programming & Services, hiking, yoga, crafts, free time with old & new friends, small group discussions, text study, and much more. Open to all women 18 years of age and older.
