NCJW Statewide Lobby Day NCJW lobbies within California for legislation that benefits women, children, and families. Lobby Day activities will take place in mid-April. Contact advocacy@ncjwlongbeach.org if you are interested in helping to coordinate meetings with local legislators or attending any of those meetings. We will also have training sessions for NCJW Statewide Lobby Day.

Jewish Family & Children’s Service

JFCS is pleased to announce that Jennifer Alban Seislove has joined their team as Director of Development, following Pattie Davidson’s retirement. Jennifer has more than 15 years of experience in the non-profit industry, supporting the growth of programming for organizations through strategic fundraising and communications efforts. Before joining JFCS, Jennifer developed and led all fundraising initiatives at the SCGA Junior Golf Foundation and oversaw the college scholarship program. She was also selected by her peers to lead the SCGA Women & Diversity Committee, setting the strategic priorities for the organization as it related to membership growth and programming for these audiences.

Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from Cal State Long Beach. Additionally, she has received her certificate in Principles & Techniques in Fundraising from IUPUI The Fund Raising School and has supported her leadership advancement through coursework at the Center for Creative Leadership. Jennifer grew up in the Long Beach Jewish community and participated in the Alpert New Leaders Forum in 2017.
