he theme of this yearâs MEGA 2020 event held on March 5 is âModern Mensches & Mitzvahsâ with Joshua Malina as the headliner. Joshua graduated from Yale University with a bachelorâs degree in theater studies. He made his professional acting debut in the Broadway production of Aaron Sorkinâs âA Few Good Men.â Joshua is well-known for playing Will Bailey on the NBC drama âThe West Wing,â Jeremy Goodwin on âSports Night,â David Rosen on âScandal,â and President Siebert on âThe Big Bang Theory.â He is very active in Jewish affairs, appearing in the Jewish Federationâs âLive Generouslyâ campaign and has spoken at dozens of Federations and Hillel events across the country. Joshua also starred in a video aimed at Jewish high school students to prepare them for the possibility that theyâll face an anti-Israel climate on college campuses. During MEGA 2020 members of the community will be honored. The Medal of Honor will be awarded to David Weiner and the Harold & Jean Grossman Award will be bestowed upon Esther and Don Schon, MD.
