n the final tense minutes of JEP/ Nageela’s biggest fundraiser of the year, 4Hashem, the Five Towns community joined in with friends from all over the world last week to help the organization reach its goal. Volunteers, board members, and staff pushed their limits into the exciting last moments to finish strong in the 30-hour matching campaign
where each dollar was matched X4. This year the campaign headquarters was right on Central Avenue at the magnificent venue of 925 Sterling & Art, thanks to Chaim and Esther Holzberg. The celebration continued with a lavish buffet sponsored by Gourmet Glatt, Simply Sushi, and Camp Romimu. All this generosity and hard work translates into more children who can reap the benefits of a Joyfully Jew-
ish experience at Camp Nageela this summer, along with more wonderful Torah-infused programming by JEP throughout the year. Generous matchers of the campaign include members of JEP/Nageela’s “Choose Life” society, a pillar of support for the organization, and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. Much of the campaign’s success is due to JEP/Nageela’s volunteers, alumni and family who posted “Shout
Outs” online as they raised funds for the organization. Thank you to all who helped make our campaign a success! JEP/Nageela is a volunteer-based organization. The more volunteer support, the more good work that can be done 4Hashem.
