Supporting Jewish Day Schools

The COVID-19 pandemic amplified the need for services to our local Jewish schools, especially for families and children with special needs. JFS, with support from the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, responded by providing teachers, school administrators, and parents additional support. In doing so, we addressed the stressors and anxiety that comes with virtual school, how to help their students/children through other unique challenges, and help the students catch up on learning. As a result, the agency saw a 314% increase in the total individuals served at the schools than last year.
