A MESSAGE FROM OUR BOARD CHAIR

Dear JFS Family,

When I think about the last year - in the middle of the pandemic - I can’t help but continue to be grateful for all we have accomplished at Jewish Family Service. We have seen the agency rise to new challenges with grace, dedication, and a lot of hard work.

I’m very proud to lead our JFS Board of Directors, and I truly appreciate their continued support and engagement. Together, even virtually, we continued to move the agency forward. Whether it be updating our bylaws, improving and modifying processes and procedures, volunteering, taking part in helping the Food Pantry Expansion come to fruition, overseeing another record-breaking diaper collection, hosting our first-ever Staff Appreciation picnic, or the Federally Qualified Health Center feasibility study, we didn’t let the current challenges we faced impede our important work.

As usual, JFS has once again risen to the occasion with the help of our amazing community. Due to your support, JFS helped make more possible for those in need, at a time when the need was greater than ever before. It is truly humbling to be surrounded by donors, volunteers, staff members, who ask themselves, “What can I do to make a difference today?”
