he practiced law for 14 years and recently became the executive director in Dallas for Heroic Media, a pro-life non-profit media organization. Stan Ledford ’88 lives in Georgia and is based in Newark, NJ flying International B777s for Continental Airlines. Trey Hammond ’89 lives in St. Louis, MO with his wife, Nancy, a physical therapist, and their four boys: Jacob (8), Lucas (6), Nicholas (4) and Andrew (2). He is an associate professor in the Department of Theological Studies at Saint Louis University, where he serves as the director of the doctoral program. He was recently named the chair of the department with its 31-member faculty. He remains passionate about Jesuit education. James Logan ’89 has appeared in many movies but his latest role in the new Jason Statham film The Mechanic, is getting a lot of press. The Dallas Morning News reported that the first person you see on-screen is James Logan. On James’ website he states, “Man, what a great time! Two months in New Orleans working for director Simon West… an amazing experience!”

Taylor Brinkman ’02 married Talia Gursky in Newport, RI with Robert Woolnough ’02 serving as his best man. The couple lives in Dallas. Taylor graduated from Boston College Law School and is clerking for a federal judge in Fort Worth.
1990s Matt Irwin ’90 and wife, Heather, welcomed their second baby, Sarah Irwin, into their family on July 21, 2010. Mark Alphonso ’91 and wife, Helene, have added to their family. New baby girl, Mia Stephanie, born September 28, 2010, joins older brother, Alexander (4). Mark will be opening a new reception facility in North Dallas called “The Windsor at Hebron Park.” Steve Gossett ’91 and his dad, Steve, Sr. ’66, are “pretty excited” to see their family tradition continued. Steve’s son, Jake Gossett, will be entering the Jesuit Dallas class of 2015 this fall. Kelly Welch ’92 and his wife and business partner, Kate Yonkers, celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary and the 10th year anniversary of Welch &Yonkers, LLC., their acupuncture practice. Their office was named an official offsite teaching facility for the Georgetown University Medical program. “Residents in the program come to the office and follow me on clinical rounds throughout the year as part of their training.”
Sam Watkins ’93 and wife, Meredith, welcomed their first child, Bennett Anderson Watkins, on Feb. 21, 2011. After moving around the country for 11 years working as a television news reporter, Brian Barker ’94 is now living in Portland, OR and working as a communications officer at Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue. The father of a 2-yearold daughter, he and his wife spend their weekends working as ski patrollers on Mount Hood and racing bicycles in the summer. Ryan Golden ’94 recently began an executive master’s degree program in software engineering at UT Austin. He and wife, Nicole, welcomed their second son, Asher, into their family. Steve Graham ’94 and wife, Donielle just had baby number four, a boy named Holden Allan Graham. “Sophomore English remains one of my all-time favorites.” After completing course work at Northwestern University, Matt Keirstead ’94 is working through residencies in prosthetics and orthotics. “Sarah and I think y’all should visit Bend and enjoy the outdoors of central Oregon. Also, nice work, Kieran!”
