Over moderate libations and barbeque, Mike Hanley ’63, and classmates Jim Blackburn, Tom Land and Paul Vinton traded stories about Jesuit’s last graduating class from the school’s former location at Oak Lawn and Blackburn Street. Even older memories were exhumed from earlier days at St. Cecilia’s and St. James’ elementary schools as the four looked over photos of First Communion and 8th grade graduation. “Alas, even with four memories straining together, many former elementary school classmates’ names could not be conjured up.� After graduating from Jesuit, Tom Heines ’64 went to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, where he graduated with a B.S. in management. He has worked for IBM his entire career, and now sells software to IBM business partners. In the banking industry for nearly 40 years, Mike Moser ’66, recently joined Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) as a director in their Financial Institutions Regulatory Advisory Group. A&M is a global consulting group focusing on turnaround management, litigation support, and industry advisory

His two sons, Michael, Jr. and David are both graduates of Strake Jesuit and Loyola University, New Orleans. “They both live in Atlanta now, so we visit as often as possible.� David has two children, Cole (6) and Brennan (3). Mike and his wife Kris celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Aug. 23, 2009. Gregory James ’68 is happy to announce that his son Christopher was named head football coach at Crowley High School. Previously at Arlington High School, Christopher’s teams produced the greatest offensive production in Tarrant County for the last three years. “Please remember him in your prayers as the football season approaches.� Tony LaLumia ’68 is very proud to announce his son Tony has graduated Navy boot camp. He will stay in Great Lakes, IL for 6 months of school before being assigned to a new base.

1970s John Neuhoff ’70 is running for Judge of the 256th District Family Court in Dallas County. John has 33 years of legal and business experience.

John Foster ’71 is pleased to announce that he now has three grandchildren: Johnny VI (5), Frances (3), Dotsie (2 months). All are the children of Johnny V ’98. Simon Aguilar ’73 is proud to announce that his son, Mario Glen Aguilar, graduated from Texas A&M University on May 15, 2010. Rick Dupont ’73 and wife Margaret are the proud new grandparents of Kennon James Dupont, future member of the class of 2027. The parents are Eric Dupont ’98 and wife, Laura Kennon Dupont (UA ’98).
