AT MOUNT MARY, CREATIVITY IS PART OF OUR DNA. At Mount Mary University, we transform culture through compassion. This is a sacred place, home to the most important mission: to create. We were bold from the first day we opened our doors in 1913. Our founders, the School Sisters of Notre Dame, were armed with a dream—to educate women who will transform the world. Our students, faculty and staff form a close-knit community where everyone is eager to collaborate and innovate by taking risks with new ideas, working together through complexities, finding solutions instead of solving problems and keeping an open mind about what’s to come in the future. Today, more than 100 years later, Mount Mary is shaping the next generation of bold women who will enrich our world with their creativity, compassion and skill. At Mount Mary, we don’t just create. We create bold women who will transform the world.

I CHOSE MOUNT MARY BECAUSE OF ITS COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY AND EMPOWERING WOMEN TO CHANGE THE WORLD FOR THE BETTER. Katrina Pittsley `14

A DIFFERENT WAY OF LEARNING. Learning at Mount Mary is a conversation —a collaboration—not a lecture. Professors get to know you as an individual and care just as much about what’s going on with you outside the classroom as inside it. We personalize your educational experience based on how you learn best, because we want you to succeed. Nothing makes us happier than watching you walk across the stage on graduation day and shift from being our student to becoming our colleague.

THE CAROLINE SCHOLARS PROGRAM SHAPED MY ENTIRE COLLEGE EXPERIENCE. I WAS FIRST DRAWN TO IT BECAUSE OF THE AMAZING OPPORTUNITY OF FULL TUITION AND ROOM AND BOARD, BUT WHAT I GAINED WENT FAR BEYOND THAT: A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF SOCIAL JUSTICE, COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND A MARVELOUS SUPPORT SYSTEM OF WOMEN AT VARIOUS STAGES IN THEIR COLLEGE CAREERS.
