Day 03

Challenge: Blabberize is a clever way to tell a story through the use of photos. If you select a photo, you can define where the mouth will be on the photo. You narrate your text and the mouth you drew moves with your voice. Picture for example a talking horse or a rabbit telling a story. Or, what if you students researched an historical event and then told the story through the mouth of Abraham Lincoln or John F. Kennedy? Your challenge, create a blabberize that will be both informative and entertaining.

Uses in the Classroom • Narrate a story as an animal • Give a speech as a famous historian • Debate a topic as a politician • Narrate a poem or book • Have famous talk about events in their lives. DISCOVERY USERS SPEAK UP Using Discovery Education content in my professional development sessions has not only been easy and engaged the learners, but it helps them understand how they can easily create & embed the content. There are TONS of great resources to use as examples, how-to's or next steps within Discovery. I find myself referring beginners to advanced technology users to Discovery Education. It is a wonderful resource for the diverse teachers I support. ~ Stephanie Madlinger K-12 Program Coordinator & Technology Specialist, St. Louis, MO
