Growing up in Texas, he witnessed firsthand teachers' profound influence on his classmates and the community. Following his high school graduation, Jerry enrolled at East Texas Baptist University, where he completed his undergraduate studies in 1993. Later, he furthered his education by obtaining a Master's in Education from Lamar University in 2002. Driven by a commitment to continuous growth and professional development, Dr. Gibson pursued a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston, which he successfully obtained in 2015. This advanced degree equipped him with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in his current leadership position. Additionally, his time at the University of Houston allowed him to forge meaningful relationships with aspiring educators across Texas and beyond, enriching his professional network.
