End of discussion.” ~Chris Rose I am a NOLA girl through and through born and raised here, the farthest away I have lived is Lafayette for college. I have had a passion for photography for years, which began when my parents bought me a 35mm film camera as a college graduation gift. I eventually switched to a digital camera, but 10 years later my passion (obsession) continues. When it comes to photographing my own children it is all about preserving the moment. It is about the way my oldest daughter wrinkles her nose when she laughs, how the curls refuse to stay in my youngest daughter’s braid and always falls in her eyes, or my baby boy’s toothy grin. It is about the laughter and the smiles, even the pouts and the frowns. I want to remember the day to day moments that define our life right now. Dress up, baking cookies, bath time and storytime... these are the moments that mean the most to me. This is what I strive to capture for you. It is not about the perfect outfit or the perfect location. It is about capturing the genuine and real moments that define your family. Years from now you will look at these images and laugh maybe even cry (happy tears of course) at the moments we captured.

Session Options
About Your Session Each of my sessions are all about you. I focus on the moments that define your family. Some images will capture the connections, the smiles, kisses, and hugs. While others will capture the activities, playing, reading stories, or rocking to sleep. And in between I’ll capture the little details. All together it will tell the story of your family. Years from now, you will look at these images, and laugh at the silly expressions, reminisce over a favorite toy, and perhaps shed a few happy tears.

Storytelling
What is storytelling? A session with me will document your family’s everyday, in a way that will tells your unique story. Story telling sessions are planned around activities from your life... making breakfast on a Sunday morning, reading stories, baking cookies, playing with toys or games. The everyday things that your family enjoys doing together. Why storytelling? Because real life, in all its mess and chaos, is beautiful. These are the moments with your family that you will remember for years to come. Where will the session take place? Storytelling session typically take place in your in-home. Your home is where your life happens and where your memories are made. It is also where your children are most relaxed and comfortable. When they are in their homes, they open to being in front of the camera. And invite me to play with them while I take pictures. This gives me an opportunity to capture them comfortable and happy. Storytelling Sessions can also take place at your favorite location around the city. What does your family like to do together? Ice Cream, pizza? We can document the story of your family where you spend time together.

Investment
Storytelling sessions tell a story in images, therefore I believe it is important for you to have all the images from your session. If any images are missing then the story is not complete. I also believe it is important for you to have those images printed in an album, so you can share your story with future generations.

Family Portraits
You also have the option to book a traditional family portrait session. This is a 30 minute session that takes places in City Park. During the session we will capture frame worthy images of your family together. There will be lots of laughs, hugs, and tickles and kisses.
Family Portrait $350 Inclusive Rate 30 minute session at City Park (fee includes the park’s required photography permit) Online gallery with 15 hand selected edited high resolution digital files From the online gallery you will be able to download the high resolution digital files with a print release which allow for you to print at your choice of labs. From the online gallery you may order prints and products based on the pricing guide.

What to Expect Booking Your Session Please contact me as soon as possible to book your session. I take a limited number of sessions a month, and want to ensure I can accommodate your schedule. For story telling sessions, when you are ready to book your session, I will send you a link to complete the client agreement form, and pay the non-refundable session retainer of $200. This is due at the time you book your session to reserve the date and time. The remaining fee of $400 will be invoiced one week prior to your session date, and must be paid in
full at least 48 hours before the session. If it is not paid your session will be canceled. I will work with you to reschedule your session to a later date. For family portrait sessions when you are ready to book I will send you a link to complete the client agreement form and pay non-refundable $350 session fee.
Preparing for your Session I will send you a client questionnaire to fill out. This will give me a chance to get to know your family before the session. Through the questionnaire I will learn the images and activities that are important to your family, and I will try to capture these throughout the session.
Not sure what to wear? For storytelling sessions wear the outfits that allow your family to be comfortable. Does your daughter have a favorite dress she wears all the time? Or does your husband love superhero t-shirts. Then that is the perfect outfit!
During Your Session Don’t stress. As a mom I know family photography sessions can be a stressful event. What will everyone wear? Will my kids behave? I hope she got just one where we look happy.... My approach for sessions create a stress free event. We will be in the comfort of your home, where your children are most at ease. We will document your family relaxed comfortable and happy together. We will take breaks as needed for newborns to nurse, children to snack, or just play and get away from the camera for a few minutes.
After Your Session Within three weeks of your session you will receive access to an online gallery. The gallery will contain the final edited images from your session. From the online gallery you will be able to order additional prints, products, and packages. For storytelling sessions you will receive the final edited images and the slideshow on USB drive. Once you have viewed your online gallery I will begin creating the layout for your album. Then everything will be delivered to you within 3 weeks of final approval of the album design.
For Family portraits sessions you will receive access to the online gallery within 3 weeks after the session. The gallery will contain 15 edited images from your session, selected by me. I will ensure to pick the images that are the best representation of your family. From the online gallery you will be able to download the high-resolution digital files with a print release. The print release will allow you to print the images from your choice of the labs. You will have the option to purchase additional products are packages but there is no requirement to do so.
