About Us Women Generating Suzanne Roberts, Founder, Certified Somatic Leadership Coach Suzanne Roberts is the creator of Women Generating which empowers women to step beyond historical social norms and shaping to be positive forces of change in the world. One component of Women Generating is The Women’s Leadership Experience Learning Series, which combines group learning with Somatic Coaching and the Focus Energy Balance Indicator (FEBI), Leadership Assessment Tool. Suzanne completed Master Leadership Training at the Strozzi Institute and earned the title of Master Certified Somatic Coach. She also participated in the Strozzi Institute’s Teacher Training program. Early in her career, Suzanne combined studies in pre-med, psychology, dance/movement and earned a degree in Holistic Health. Additionally, she is a certified FEBI administrator. Suzanne has worked as a trainer, speaker, and facilitator for small and large corporations, businesses, and non-profits since 1979. She coaches leaders to become inspiring, on purpose, resilient, and effective in their perspective domains. Additionally, she is the founder and principal of UnifyingSolutions. UnifyingSolutions focuses on organizations and executives. Additionally, she developed a Timely-Relevant Feedback Guide and Training Manual, promoting organizational and personal leadership as well as business success.

Women Generating 2012 Skills Camp ABOUT SKILLS CAMPS Skills Camps are designed for women to own their confidence, authority, and authentic purpose in order to skillfully take action to increase influence and fulfillment. The camps support direct action, ease with challenging conversations, healthy boundaries, self-care, and increased responsiveness while reducing reactivity. The camps address the critical concerns women have limited by social norms and what history has dictated. This is an opportunity to shift the ways oppression gets internalized and limits full expression. Through collective support and collective confidence, personal and collective barriers dissolve and full presence and power emerge.

The negotiation camp is designed to train you to be in authentic choice in your responsiveness in order to promote self-advocacy and skillful negotiation. You will learn how to have a clear and direct no and yes when you really mean it. You will know how to counter offer and have someone see your point of view with dignity and care. You will know when it is crucial for you to leave a conversation or leave a position and how to do it with dignity and care. 2012 Skills Camp Skills Camp: Jo Training Parts 1 & 2 - June 30, 2012 Click Here to Register
NOTE: Day is divided into 2 parts: Part 1 - Intro to Jo (six moves) and Part 2 - 31 Jo Kata This camp incorporates a series of moves with a JO staff, which is associated with Martial Arts. The JO is used as a metaphor as an extension of who we are and how we move into action in the world. Each move represents a way in which we express ourselves. Through the practice, we learn how we are not in full power, action, and expression and then have a deliberate means to build capacity and competency in an embodied way that allows us to be successful leading our lives with power, purpose and self-care. The first session of the camp focuses on six moves. The first part of the session we will focus on your current commitment. We then will use the 6 moves to help you become focused, purposeful, direct, open, resilient, while remembering your self in the process. You will have the opportunity to increase self-awareness while also observing a partner and offering life-giving suggestions to support a woman increasing her confidence and capacity. In this way, we continue to build a community of women supporting and promoting other women. We then do the practice as a team to build the capacity to coordinate with other people. Women Generating ALUMNI ONLY: Mare Practices ABOUT THE MARE PRATICE One ponders the last seconds of Sweet Adeline's (The Mare) decision that day, when she corralled a group of 13 visitors against the founding wall at Serendipity Stable, putting her own life at risk to protect the people against the oncoming F3 tornado. Thirteen visitors were participating in a horse stable visitation. Because of Sweet Adeline’s courage and leadership, the visitors had only minor injuries, but not one perished during the storm's plight. The Mare Practice is an opportunity for you to corral the collective around your stand and is an exercise to lead so fiercely, everyone follows. You have the chance to physically lead others around your vision and to experience the power of YOU.
