What is the purpose of the Minders Keepers app? Minders Keepers is a House/Pet sitting service who builds it’s very foundation on being safe, trustworthy, approachable and friendly. This app has been developed to make the booking of a sitter easier and more user friendly.

Use and Platform The Minders Keepers app is a booking service application that allows you to make bookings, browse for sitters, read reviews and keep track of your bookings via calender. The app is more suited for the portable device such as the iPhone.

The Login Screen On opening the app users are given the option to login or sign up to Minders Keepers. When signing up the user is designated a profile that will store his/her personal information for ease of use. There has been a connect with facebook option implemented to make signing up a faster process.

After signing up the user is logged in to the home screen. His/her profile will be active and represented by the bar in the top corner. Here is a brief explanation of each navigation buttons features. The Find a Sitter button will take the user to a interactive map that can be activated via “Locations� or input manually by the user. The Calender button will take the user to calender which makes viewing previous/current bookings a lot easier.

Settings

The Support button will take the user to a interactive form that can be filled out and sent to the support team. Users will have the option of requesting a call back. The Settings button is self explanatory, this button will take the user into his/her settings where personal information, email, payment settings etc can be changed.

Find a Sitter This part of the app finds the perfect sitter for you based on location, ratings and price. 1. If your iPhone allows “Location Services” the app automatically recognises your location and will immediately take you to screen 2. If not you can enter your postcode or town to search for sitters within a 10 mile radius. 2. After you have input your location the app defines from your search criteria the best matches for you. The matches can be scrolled through by touching the arrow icon with your fingers. 3. When you select the sitter you’d like to use tap the portrait and a new window will open over the top of the find a sitter screen. This includes the basic information about the sitter (name, age, location, price and average user rating). You can read reviews and click to book.

Find a Sitter This part of the app finds the perfect sitter for you based on location, ratings and price. 4. This is a basic booking form, when you select What date? A new window will open. 5. What date opens a new window which is an interactive calender. You select the start date and end date by tapping the date you want. Once you’ve selected your dates the dates background will change colour. 6. This is a confirmation page that includes your order information

Sitter Marker

Calender The Calender is used to keep track of the users bookings. Each sitter is colour coded and if for example the user has booked with Anthony Deng his marker would be represented by his colour. This marker would then be next to the date/ booking under the “Your Bookings� tab.

Support The Support page is used to send a help request to the Minders Keepers team. It is very similar to the booking form. It works in the same way but a request for a telephone call back can be made.
