Local Contractor Named Chamber’s Small Business Person of the Year

Shannon Stough of Benchmark Contracting, Inc. was recently named the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s 2013 Small Business Person of the Year. Shannon has worked and lived in South Florida for the past 13 years. He has more
than 20 years of construction experience and has accumulated a wide variety of skills and knowledge in the industry. Shannon has owned Benchmark Contracting, Inc. for 8 years and is a dynamic member of the community. He is active on the Planning and Development Board for the City of Hollywood, Leadership Hollywood, the Hollywood Jaycees, Mobile Patrol of Hollywood Police Department and also volunteers for both Rebuilding Together Broward County and Hope South Florida. In addition to being a hardworking business owner, Shannon is also the devoted husband to Angela and a proud father of Sophia and Mason.
