A Community Partnership St. John’s College is proud of its partnership with its community and welcomes lifelong learners to its many public programs. Founded in 1696 as King William’s School, the college is part of the rich fabric of Annapolis culture. Friends of St. John’s, from all over the nation, are drawn to the college to be part of an intellectual tradition that celebrates questioning, discovery, and discussion.
