When I see an incredible photo of food - one that instantly activates my hunger pangs - I get weak in the knees. It’s like a switch that goes off. Something about how the light sculpts the dish, the color, the textures that makes me believe I can almost taste it. I literally have to have it - or cook it - immediately. It is this kind of emotion that first unleashed my passion for capturing food in the first place. That an inanimate object can evoke such a visceral response just sitting there, being beautiful, waiting to be eaten, completely inspired me. And thus my love of Food Photography was born.
