For most of humanity's history, jewellery was portrayed as a status symbol for royalty and the wealthy elite; adorned by Kings and Queens, it was a luxury most could not even dream of wearing, nevertheless owning. Fortunately, for our modern society, jewellery has transcended this notion and has now become an appendage in expressing yourself and your identity, rather than your ancestral legacy. A tradition that remained, however, is the sentimental inheritance of jewellery through generations. While the idea of one day wearing your mother's engagement ring is every child's dream, as you mature and develop your own style, ideas of your own dream ring emerge.
This is why we created our remodelling service -a way to honour a loved one's memory whilst preserving the history of a piece of jewellery. We completely transform jewellery, making the final piece indistinguishable from the original design. In addition, we create subtle revivals - a few added details to honour and compliment the original sentiment. In essence, we combine what satisfies the imagination, is physically attainable and what will delight the heart.
