Beginner Classes- Classes designed especially for the Health Seeker. These classes will show you how to work out effectively, safely, and appropriately for your fitness level.
Pilates- Matwork classes that emphasize abdominal strength and core stability while balancing the rest of the body. Pilates works the body as a whole, not as isolated muscles.
Challenge Classes – Intense classes for the advanced or experienced exerciser.
Cardio Salsa- A fun way to lose weight and get a great cardio workout. Salsa uses movement and coordination and presents them in a spicy latin dance style. All fitness levels welcome!
Abs & Back- (all levels) A class that focuses on defining the abdominal area as well as strengthening the back, which helps to maintain proper posture. Active Older Adult(AOA) -A class geared for the older adult or beginner. It includes a short low intensity aerobic section, body conditioning, and stretching. All ages welcome! Body Conditioning- (all levels) A sculpting class that will help define your muscles from head to toe. Improve your muscle strength and endurance by using weights, bands and tubes. A perfect compliment to a cardiovascular workout for total body fitness. Cardiokickboxing (level 2 & 3)- Join our instructor and “kickstart” your workout with this high energy, yet easy to follow class that is packed with a variety of punches and kicks. Experience the power! Line Dance- Learn the latest Line Dances in a friendly non-competitive environment. We offer 2 classes if you are just getting started, come To the 3:30pm class to learn the basic steps. At the 4:30pm class you will Practice the old dances and learn the newest dances. Either way, it’s a fun Way to get into shape and keep your mind sharp! Stretch- Relax and improve your flexibility and range of motion with gentle Static stretches which also aid in reducing injury, improving performance, and relieving stress. Indoor Cycle -Motivational music, state of the art equipment, and enthusiastic instructors make Indoor Cycle a winning workout. Rides are based on cycling techniques, visualization, and individual creativity. Intensity levels are controlled and determined by the participant. YOU MUST ARRIVE ON TIME IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CLASS! Low Impact- A high energy workout low on impact to the joints. By adjusting the Intensity Levels, this workout can be appropriate for participants of various levels. Choreography is of moderate difficulty. PACE- People with Arthritis Can Exercise! Easy exercises with a chair for all your joints.
Simply Fit- Exercise is fun and easy to follow in this class! Simply Fit incorporates low impact aerobics, muscle strengthening and stretching. It is geared for participants of any age to reduce stress, have more energy and feel great! It is perfect for the new or returning exerciser, the pregnant or post partum woman, or someone recovering from an injury. Step- A great fat burning class. Step aerobics involve stepping up and down on an adjustable platform. By varying levels of intensity, Step can be adapted to a wide range of fitness levels. Water Exercise -Classes include cardiovascular conditioning and muscle strength and endurance. Ideal for all fitness levels, those with knee and back problems, and pre/post natal mothers. No swimming skills required. Yoga- (beginner) An introduction to traditional Hatha Yoga focusing on alignment, proper execution of yoga poses and breathing techniques. This class promotes balance, flexible strength, and relaxation. Yoga- (Challenge) This class provides the mind-body-spirit benefits of yoga practice in a vigorous, challenging format. Restorative Yoga-A gentle type of Yoga that facilitates deep relaxation with gentle poses supported by bolsters, blankets, and other props. This type of Yoga will restore the body and energize the spirit! Yin Yoga- A type of yoga in which connective tissues of the body are deeply stretched. Floor poses are held for longer periods of time. Xtreme Strength -(all levels) The ultimate barbell workout set to music and done in a group setting. Weights are adjustable from 2.5lbs to 63lbs. Focus on each major muscle group for 4 minutes. Feel the energy and get the results! YOU MUST ARRIVE ON TIME IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CLASS.
