Jeff Allan Skodak was born in Miami and grew up in NJ, Colorado, and Indiana. He started his high school education at Niwot High School in Niwot, Colorado. He left Colorado in 2003 to start an academy in Miami. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2007 and played junior hockey for the University of Florida.
