Message from 2022 JCI Quatre Bornes Local President

Dear JCI members and aspiring members,

It's already time for our second e-newsletter; it's been an incredible year filled with challenges and learning opportunities. As Paul Cezzane said, "Time and reflection change the sight little by little until we come to understand." This is indeed a good time to pause and reflect on what we have accomplished as a group. Only then can we work on bettering our skills and overcoming our weaknesses.

Throughout the numerous challenges faced, my local board has always provided great support. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the 2022 Local Board; this journey would not have been possible without 2022 Local Secretary Shivangee, 2022 Local Treasurer Sanjanah, 2022 Local Vice Presidents Muhammad, and Veena. I wish to also thank all Aspiring Members, Members, and Senators for their presence, hard work, consistency, interactions and feedback.

We had a lot of training and ongoing projects over the last few months, which has been great. Keeping the same pace and dynamism, we still have to achieve our goals. I am confident that the unity we have within the team will help us in meeting the goals outlined in our Action Plan. Let us renew our commitment and energy for this year's second half. Finally, I would like to thank the hardworking team who made this e-newsletter a reality, especially our Chief Editor Sudharshinee and designer Huzaifa.
