JCI Senator Ellen Lu Ping Ping 2022 JCI Malaysia National President

Dear JCI members of JCI Malaysia, We have come to the end of the third quarter which also means everyone will be gearing up for the Natcon where every Local Organization will reap the fruits of your labour.

The third quarter was an interesting quarter for myself as I got the opportunity to travel across 4 areas to attend local events and have a first-hand experience on the grassroot impact delivered by our local organizations through their RISE projects and flagship projects. I learnt to better appreciate the hard work and contribution of JCI members around the world working collectively to develop a sustainable project that can create a continuous impact to the local communities.

I also got the opportunity to witness the area awards ceremonies across 4 areas. Believing that an appraisal process motivates and empowers outstanding Local Organizations and JCI members, the award ceremonies truly highlight high achievers from each area. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the quarterly award recipients and encourage others to continue to strive as the next high flyer can be you.

Next, I would like to congratulate the organizing committee for the JCI Malaysia Leaders Run for the successful completion of the Leaders Run in promoting the visibility of the JCI movement and JCI Malaysia as the premier leadership organization in Malaysia. A huge thank you to the sponsors and partners that come together to make the event possible.

Moving into the final quarter we will have our Natcon and also JCI World Congress signifies a transfer of leadership from a year to another. It is also an annual occasion that celebrates the achievements and milestones the organization has accomplished in 2022. I am excited to meet every one in Kuching for the 2022 Natcon and look forward to spending quality time with some of you to hear your stories in 2022, the year we embraced the new norm and kickstart after the pandemic. Together we take the LEAD.
