JCCAC

Jackson County Civic Action Committee, Inc. was founded on August 31, 1965. The nonprofit, tax-exempt agency is a member of the Community Action Partnership. JCCAC is led by Executive Director Diann Payne and a Board of Directors selected from the community. JCCAC’s programs cover services that focus on family and community—from comprehensive childcare development to aging services for senior citizens—JCCAC promotes self-sufficiency and civic engagement. The agency is governed by a Board of Directors, whose composition includes a cross section of Jackson County individuals, businesses, and public organizations that represent three sectors, as required of community action agencies—public, private and poor. The agency’s daily activities function through the Executive Director who is supported by a team of professionals providing indirect and direct services to clients.
