Dear Camp Families, In a time unlike any other we have experienced, the significance of a meaningful summer - being with friends and learning life-long skills takes on a new meaning. Yearning to have fun, getting physical, acquiring new skills, and being part of a community are some of the most cherished parts of summer camp that provide our children the opportunity to grow and create memories that will carry with them for years to come. We understand many lifestyles have changed, so we’ve included new half and full day, one-week skill-focused programming to meet your ever-changing needs. Our Camp Kaytana will challenge and engage your children as do our other traditional Gan Yeladim, Kindercamp, Sabra, Habonim, Theatre, Yalla and Adventure Days camps. In 2021, we are excited to enrich your children’s summer and allow them a change from the norm in a safe and independent environment. Here, they’ll gain leadership skills, develop a greater appreciation and respect for our differences, engage in team building activities, and enjoy a new, enhanced outdoor play environment thanks to our community partners at the Jacksonville Jewish Center, providing up to 35 acres of outdoor space. Planning 2021 Summer Camp was a bright light for all the JCA staff and from the entire Camp Leadership Family to yours, we can’t wait to bring our family back together for the summer. We hope you’ll join us!

Deposits are not refundable or transferable to other JCA programs outside of camp. Campers who register for a minimum of eight weeks with full payment at the time of registration will receive a 5% discount (excluding Gan Yeladim). This discount is applicable only for these camps and offered until February 19. Payments must be made by cash or check only. There are no discounts on Habonim specialty programs. This discount does not apply to those receiving financial assistance. Balances for all camp programs regardless of session must be paid in full by May 2. The JCA will not guarantee placement if balances are outstanding after that date. Refunds of camp fees for any sessions will be granted, less deposits, only if the JCA is notified in writing of withdrawal prior to May 2. Notification of withdrawal on or after May 2 results in loss of all fees paid. All changes (in writing) regarding registration, including schedules, sessions and specialties, result in a $15 per change fee payable at the time the change is made. On or after May 2, there is no credit issued for changes to schedules with lesser tuitions. Camp fees include camp t-shirt and daily snack.
REGISTRATION
Camps are open to all children regardless of race, religious affiliation or ethnic origin. Membership is not required, but JCA members and Patty Cake age children currently enrolled in ECE programs, or for the 2021-2022 school year, have priority registration through March 19. Guests are encouraged to submit applications with deposits early to secure a space on the waiting list. In the event space is not available, all monies are refunded. Cabin requests must be reciprocal and written on registration forms by May 2. Our cabin groups are designed to meet each camper’s individual needs; however, the JCA reserves the right to discontinue service in the event that a camper’s placement does not serve the best interests of the individual or group. Registration for all camps is required at least three business days prior to the start day.
FINANCIAL AID
Adjusted fees are available on the basis of financial need and the availability of funds. Fee adjustment forms, with required documentation including 2020 tax return, must be received by March 15 to be considered for disbursement by April 1. Late applications are accepted for disbursement of any remaining funds. All paperwork must be fully completed. Please indicate on your registration form if you wish to receive a fee adjustment packet. Full deposits are still required upon application. If financial aid is insufficient or unavailable, deposits are refunded. For more information, contact Nancy Green at 730-2100 at ext. 247.
