TOGETHER IN TEXAS
Feb. 23 • 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this class, couples will review helpful information and components for a successful marriage. A Premarital Education Course certificate is provided after completion and can be used to receive $60 off your Texas marriage license and waive the 72-hour waiting period. Register by Feb. 21. This is held at the M&FRC.

MARRY THE MILITARY
Feb. 10 • 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Are you about to become a military spouse? Before you tie the knot, explore what it takes to become a military spouse by learning about the unique challenges and benefits of the military lifestyle. This is held virtually. SINGLE PARENT SUPPORT GROUP
Jan. 4 & Feb. 1 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Short- and long-term single parents receive information on community resources, network with other parents, and participate in open discussions at the M&FRC and virtually.
HEART LINK: MILITARY SPOUSE ORIENTATION
Jan. 26 • 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This orientation is for military spouses from all branches of service. Make new friends while learning about the military mission, lifestyle, protocols and local community resources. This is held at the JBSA-Lackland Arnold Hall Community Center.
TAP TOO
Jan. 30 • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This seminar is specifically designed for military spouses to help them navigate the many challenges that arise when their service member retires or separates from service. This seminar is held at JBSA-Lackland Arnold Hall Community Center, bldg. 5506. Feb. 23 • 9 a.m. to noon Meet virtually with a representative from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to learn about the adoption and foster care process, state and legal requirements, DEERS enrollment and more. This seminar fulfills the state requirement for prospective foster and adoption parents to attend an informative orientation.

RANDOLPH
READY, SET, RESUME
Jan. 17 • 9-11 a.m. Knowing what to include or not include on a resume can be confusing. This workshop introduces the different types of resume formats, including federal resumes. This is held at the M&FRC.
USAJOBS NAVIGATION & FEDERAL RESUME
Jan. 24 & Feb. 21 • 9-11 a.m. During this class, attendees will discuss the federal hiring process, how to navigate the USAJOBS site, and how to create a federal resume. This is held at the M&FRC.
BUNDLES FOR BABIES
Feb. 1 • 9-11 a.m. Active-duty expecting parents review information virtually to learn about budgeting and financial planning, local support programs and more. This class is supported by the Air Force Aid Society.
VA BENEFITS & SERVICES
Feb. 24 • 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This required workshop reviews VA services, disability compensation and GI Bill benefits for service members transitioning out of the military. This is held at the M&FRC but attendees must complete the prerequisite, Pre-Separation Counseling first. Classes and services are offered through different modes: in-person only, online only and hybrid mix. Open to all DoD ID cardholders, registration is required. Call to register. VOLUNTEER AWARDS NOMINATION WRITING WORKSHOP

Virtual: Jan. 26 & Feb. 2 • 9-10 a.m. Review the 2023 Volunteer of the Year Award and Volunteer Excellence Award nomination forms and learn how to submit an effective nomination packet identifying volunteers for recognition during the annual JBSA Volunteer Awards Ceremony. Submit nomination packets now through March 1. In-person workshops are held at the JBSA-Fort Sam Houston M&FRC. To register for the virtual workshops, contact the JBSA-Randolph M&FRC.
