Villa Florida Inicialmente llamada Paso Santa María, fue fundada por los jesuitas en 1632. Oficialmente fue fundada el 6 de septiembre de 1880, vive principalmente de las actividades comerciales y turísticas vinculadas al hermoso río Tebicuary que casi la envuelve totalmente, y a sus blancas y amplias playas de arena blanca. Villa Florida At the beginning it was called Paso Santa María and was founded by the Jesuits in 1632. It was officially founded on September 6th, 1880. Its mainly income comes from commercial activities and tourism connected to the beautiful Tebicuary River and its white and wide sandy beaches which almost entirely covers the place.
