Over the last few years the Foundation has purchased an automatic slide stainer for the laboratory; two new birthing beds; an ice machine, end tables, curtains and paint for the OB Department; a urodynamic machine for the OB/GYN office at DMH; privacy doors for the ER and ICU; an ice machine for the Chemotherapy and Senior Life Improvement departments; a Stortz laryngoscope for the Emergency Department; G5 Vibramatic Percussor for Respiratory Therapy; and a new website for the hospital.

The Hospital Foundation has approved $94,000 in expenses this year alone. This will ensure DeSoto Memorial Hospital’s growth as a full service health care facility by providing state-of-the-art technology and equipment. This is all accomplished by the support the Foundation receives from donors.
