Upper Control Arm Installation
1. Lubricate bushings before installation, then mount the JBA upper control arms to the frame with the factory bolts, eccentric washers, and nuts. (Put antiseize on the bolts) Center the bolt in the mounting pocket and torque to 90 ft-lbs.
2. Put ball joint stud through the spindle with washer under the boot and above the steering knuckle, install nut finger tight then use a torque wrench and Torque nut to 45ftlbs.
3. Bend the locater tab on the ABS/Brake line bracket flat and re-attach to the UCA.
4. Grease the ball joint until the dust boot starts to swell. Grease the upper control arm bushings until you see grease pushing out. If you do not grease these items, premature wear will result on these items!
5. Mount wheel and torque lug nuts.
6. Repeat for other side.
7. Lower vehicle off of jack stand.
8. Have vehicles front end professionally aligned to manufactures spec.
